Cellers Can Blau founded in 2003. Placed in El Molar, in the D.O. Montsant. Differing from its adjacent D.O. Priorato, D.O. Montsant work with unique varieties such as Cariñena or Mazuelo and Grenache, planted in and adapted to different types of soils. Cellers Can Blau have 35Ha of vineyards with an average age of 40 years. Working with three different varieties, grown in three differently composed soils: sandy and clay soil for the Cariñena or Mazuelo vine, calcareous soil for the Syrah vine and slate and limestone-based soil for the Grenache, which gives personality and special features to grapes.
